 🌒 The Spirit World — Energies Beyond the Veil

Between the seen and unseen worlds, there are whispers — gentle presences that remind us that energy is eternal and love never leaves.  

Many of us who are sensitive to energy can feel when a space holds memory. Sometimes it’s peaceful and still. Other times it feels unsettled, restless, or heavy — as though the past has not yet exhaled.

  My Own Encounters with Spirit

When I first moved into my home, I came face to face with the unseen. The house carried geopathic stress lines and a woman’s spirit who still lingered — her scent of perfume, her whispering presence. Through Reiki and dowsing, we helped her find peace and the house fell still again.

Since then, I have been called to help restore balance in other spaces too. Once, while clearing a carpet shop with another Reiki Master, we felt many spirits ready to move on. We sent Reiki and asked for light to guide them home.  

I said, half in jest, that I hoped they wouldn’t follow me — yet for the next three days my home filled with large, silent bluebottles. They didn’t buzz or hum, they simply appeared, then left again. A quiet reminder, perhaps, that when we work with spirit, we open doors between worlds — and that compassion continues long after the energy has settled.

Another time, after a bike ride with my dear friend Angela, a great pink balloon came bouncing down the hill towards me, bright as rose quartz. On it was written, *“Happy Birthday David.”* My father’s name.  

I later learned that this was the day his ashes were laid to rest — something I hadn’t been told. And so, he found his way to tell me himself, in his playful, unmistakable way. Spirit always finds a way to speak.

 🌿 Cleansing and Harmonising Energy

Every home, every piece of land, holds its own vibration. Geopathic stress lines, residual emotions, or restless spirits can all create energetic dissonance. Through Reiki, intention, and love, these can be soothed, realigned, and transformed.

Energy cannot be destroyed; it simply changes form. When we send Reiki into those dense spaces, it acts as a bridge — transforming pain into light, confusion into release.

 🔮 The Sacred Role of Compassion

Spirit work is never about fear or control. It is about reconciliation — the act of helping lost energy remember its way back to Source.  

I hold deep respect for the unseen and always work through the same ethics that guide my therapy and Reiki practice: respect, consent, and grounding.  

We are not here to dominate energy; we are here to listen to it, understand it, and restore harmony where it has been lost.

 ✨ Signs of Spiritual Activity

Not all spirit or energetic disturbances feel the same, but they often share certain qualities that can be gently observed.  

Here are some of the more common signs that a space may need clearing, rebalancing, or blessing:

- **A sudden heaviness in a particular room** — as though the air feels thick or charged.  

- **Restless sleep or vivid dreams**, especially after moving home or redecorating.  

- **Unexplained noises or movements**, such as knocks, footsteps, or objects falling without cause.  

- **Changes in pets’ behaviour** — animals often sense energy shifts before we do.  

- **A feeling of being watched** or of someone “standing behind you.”  

- **Cold spots or flickers of light** in a room where energy is unsettled.  

- **Recurring emotions or memories** that arise without clear reason.  

- **Plants that struggle to thrive** in one area of a home, or a sense that a particular corner always feels “off.”

These experiences don’t always mean something is wrong — sometimes it’s simply the land or a residual memory asking to be acknowledged and released.  

When we bring light, prayer, and love into those spaces, they often soften almost immediately.

 🌞 Between Worlds, There is Always Light
